Photo Friday: Unwind

Okay, so I’m a day late, but I’m NOT a dollar short. Wait, am I?

Anyway, this Photo Friday Challenge is “Unwind” and I thought, where else better to unwind than at a big beautiful lake in the mountains?

Crater Lake National Park at Sunrise

At 1,943 feet deep, it is the deepest lake in the US.

So much water!

  1. Color me green with envy. All 3 of these images are awesome!! I hope that one day you create a photography book and add these images to it. I have literally spent 10 minutes looking at that first picture in the series. Just curious but in the first photo what were you standing on?

    • Hi, Thank you! What a great thing to say, maybe I will! :) Have you ever been to Crater Lake? Well, down at the bottom of the Cleetwood Trail there is an outcropping of rock – it’s called the “jumping rock” because it’s the best place to leap into the lake – not too far from the restrooms. It drops away from the water, so the top is kind of out over the water. That’s where I was standing! And that’s why it looks like I’m not standing on anything, haha!

I want to hear from you! I love comments, and suggestions. Please leave all of yours, here:
