Happy Easter!
While I’m waking up, and waiting for my little niece and nephew to arrive, I thought I would look through my photos from the last few days and see if I have photos to apply to the Scavenger Hunt prompts!
Here is what I found:

This is a NEW way to dye eggs - wrap them in old ties and boil them in water/vinegar for 20 minutes. Added bonus: your eggs are dyed and hard boiled all at once!

LIFE can be seen in this giant tree that we planted in the backyard when we moved to this house 16 years ago!

My dad's delicious bread produced lots of FRAGRANT smells as it baked.
Also, this photo was taken 2 days ago, and all but half of one of these is gone. ;)
And there they are, my Scavenger Hunt interpretations of the week!

haven’t heard the “tye dying” process you mentioned! must try that next year.
bread = fragrant — of course it does!!! my hubs makes homemade bread, cinnamon sticky buns, and scones…
Ooo sounds like I need your address, haha! ;) The ‘tie’ dying method is really cool. you should definitely try it next Easter.
Great set, I just love the picture of the tree and the black bird!
Thanks Krista! That one is my favorite too! :)
Great shots – I can just SMELL that bread…drool!
Thanks Patrice! Oh yeah, this bread is so good! :)
This set was a delightful journey! I like the way you pictured the egg with the tie in the background. Would like to try the dyeing. (Thanks for the tip!)
Thank you Sylvia! I wanted to show how the pattern on the tie imprinted onto the eggshell. A step I didn’t show was the second wrapping – after you wrap and tie off the tie, around the egg, you wrap the egg and the tie in a piece of an old sheet or white rag to keep the color from the tie from leaking away from the egg. That way, the shell collects more of the color.
Lovely set, and those eggs are so cool! I’m definitely going to try that some day.
Thanks Sarah! You totally should, it’s a lot of fun! :)
Great choices for the Scavenger Hunt!
Happy Easter!

Good set:
I found the NEW way to dye eggs an interesting idea.
Oh yes, fresh baked bread qualifies as FRAGRANT – Yum!
Thank you Ida! It’s really so much fun, and a nice change to the typical egg dying adventure.
Those easter eggs are gorgeous!
Thanks Ashley! :D Thanks too for stopping by!
Love your pink photo! And I have got to try that easter egg trick!
Thank you Onna! And yes, you really should!
