An abandoned gas station sits alongside a road in Western Washington. The two loyal pumps still offer a reminder to “pay first”
While I liked how this photo turned out before I began editing it, it was lacking something. I applied an old paper action to it, and voila! I love it. what do you think?
Thanks to my mom for patiently waiting in the car while I jumped out to photograph these guys! :)

I would love to photograph some of these, but every time a petrol station is closed down the pumps are removed, such a shame. Like what you have done to yours.
Really? I guess that would be a safer option, so the gasoline doesn’t leak into the ground around the underground tank while not in use. They are fun to photograph though, and I hope you get a chance! :)
Perfect!!!!
Wow, Thank you! :D
I love abandoned things! Don’t know why ;). I love the angle you decided to take the photo and the vintage paper feel is the final wonderful touch. Great bokeh and also choice of a sepia-ish finish rather than straight up black and white.
