I’m not totally sure how I feel about this one.
On one hand I think I like it alright, and on the other I think it might be too hazy…
Thoughts?
Also, I’m beginning to think I need a more personalized watermark. Yes, it’s my name, but it’s just that, in a cursive font, and that’s not original. I want to come up with a design or image that I can start using along with my name. Any suggestions? What is your watermark? Have you seen one that stuck with you?
Today offered lovely cloud patterns and pretty sun rays coming down. I got to admire it all along my way from one job to the other.

Ahhh, it has been TOO LONG! I started a new job, and then a second new job, and them we house-sat a couple times. Oh, and then we moved! I’m tired just remembering it all. For a stretch there we didn’t even have an internet connection!
I’m back now, and excited to explore and photograph our new area. We moved to a small town north of Tacoma, and from what I can tell there are going to be plenty of opportunities for me to turn my camera on!
Below is an oldie, from a few weeks ago. I admittedly haven’t been taking as many photos as I did when I was unemployed, and I’m thinking I might try to actually schedule in some specific Camera-and-Abra time to get myself back into the swing of things.
I have many goals now that our schedules are leveling out, I definitely want to go through all my back log of photos, and I’d like to update and add to my Etsy shop soon too! Stay tuned, hang in there, and don’t give up on me yet!

A lake oddly placed, one border of the park runs alongside Highway 16 through Tacoma.
However, from down at the lake shore it’s hard to comprehend how close to civilization you really are.

I think these are my new favorite flower. They are so diverse, and so big and beautiful!
Spent some time in the Master Gardener Display Garden in Bellevue the other day. I didn’t have my tripod, so I tried following bees around and just not breathing while taking the photos, haha!
Then I came home and tried some different effects in PSE.
And of course I was playing around in PSE again. ;)
I like how it has a metallic look…
While I don’t have room in my little patio garden for my own artichoke plant, I found this one in the Master Gardener Display Garden in the Lake Hills area of Bellevue.
Wow, this year is going by too fast. Lately I haven’t had as much time as usual to go out and take photos. I miss my camera!
Anyway, here is another photo I am being indecisive about. I love the colors of the boats and their reflections in the first one, but the black and white has more of an impact.
