Hi Abra. Nice close-ups of that creepy crawly spider. Eek. I just recently purchased the Canon 100mm f2.8L Macro Lens…and I can’t wait to practice on some critters like this. I must say, it gives me the willies to see them as such detail, but there is so much to see on the macro level. Do you know what kind of spider this is? I think I’ve seen one like this in my yard, but not sure what kind they are. Great job and good luck! –Lori
What a beautiful creature! Most of the time, even a mere picture of a spider (particularly an unexpected one) is enough to make me half-jump out of my skin, but somehow this one isn’t too bad. Doesn’t hurt that these are such lovely portraits, too!

Thanks Sarah! Be happy you weren’t the one who “found” several of these guys by walking through their webs! Gah!
I only clicked “like” because you do a good job on the photography, but the images give me the shudders.
Sorry about that! :) I was getting a bit creeped out myself as I took these *shudder*
