Had to turn around and go back to photograph this beautiful field of yellow flowers. Especially since there were two perfectly placed horses right in the middle of all that yellow.
Felt a little weird photographing someone’s horses without their permission, but no one came out to stop me!
I’ve been a part of a photography group in which each month we focus on photographing a particular color.
May is blue, and I have so far failed to photograph anything to fulfill this challenge.
I did get a couple of old blue glass bottles at a garage sale a couple weeks ago, so today I finally got out my light box to play around with them.
Here are my results.
All this rain we’ve been having lately has made everything around here a brand new shade of bright green.
I had to get my wide angle out this afternoon.
And by the time I got home the clouds had mostly cleared, letting the moon shine brightly through.
I couldn’t decide if I liked it better in color or black and white. What do you think?
Isaac and I went to the dog park with Toby this afternoon, but because of the rain and such, there was just one other dog, a 9 month old boxer named Rhaego (Game of Thrones, anyone?).
Luckily, he was full of energy, and loved to play rough the way Toby does. They chased each other around for a solid half hour before his owner wanted to leave.
Meet and Greet
I asked the other owner if it was okay for me to take photos. He said “I don’t think you’ll steal his soul”
One of my favorites
Toby was covered in dog slobber and rain puddle water by the end.
Until next time.
He was pretty tired out on the drive home (and filthy!)
The clouds were doing awesome things today.
And a bonus one for you:
Another one to ponder over today.
Stay tuned for the answer!
This evening out at the farm, it was an interesting sight, the blue sky overhead and the storm clouds approaching fast.
First, I want to wish a Happy Birthday to the BEST Daddy in the whole world. (you know who you are! <3)
And today’s collection:
Ok, this isn’t the greatest photo of these guys, but all I had was my 50mm and I wanted to catch them! You remember those goose families I mentioned seeing a while ago? Well, they’re still around! All three families, and the babies are getting BIG!
The perfect rain catcher.
Working on my computer this evening, I glanced up to see some nice golden hour light hitting a tree outside the window.
Isaac was an unwilling subject, and since Toby can’t say no to getting his photo taken, we headed outside.
