On one hand I think I like it alright, and on the other I think it might be too hazy…
Also, I’m beginning to think I need a more personalized watermark. Yes, it’s my name, but it’s just that, in a cursive font, and that’s not original. I want to come up with a design or image that I can start using along with my name. Any suggestions? What is your watermark? Have you seen one that stuck with you?
Though there aren’t as many blooms out now as there were a couple months ago, if one looks closely enough there is still plenty to see!
I can’t remember what these are called, but I found them sitting demurely on the side of the trail in the Black River Riparian Forest.
It has been fun to be in a place for more than one season, and to be able to see the different seasons come and go. I got a surprise email yesterday from DK Miller at TheShutterbug Eye Photography letting me know I won! I won the giveaway for one of her pendant necklaces. She was throwing the giveaway to celebrate her photo pendants being gifted to the press at GBK’s MTV Movie Awards Gift Lounge. Check out her blog at theshutterbugeye.com/blog! Thanks again Diane!

Today has been rainy and gloomy (too bad we were out of town for the weekend when it was a reportedly “low 70′s”!) but my mom and I did venture out to Value Village where she found a few little toys that I stuck in my light box when we got home (might post some of those later)
Also I’m excited to announce that the flowers are starting to bloom in our area!
Here’s a close up:
I would like the stamen to be a little clearer, but this is what I get while shivering in the drizzle! ;)
I have added this to Wordless Wednesdays with Words:
