June 8th, photo of the day: This could be really bad….

Or, it could be really good.

I discovered actions. You know, like the actions for programs such as Photoshop Elements. I’ve been skeptical, but yesterday I learned how to get them into my PSE, to a place where I can actually use them, and I’ve gone action crazy.

The one on the left is the original, the one on the right has a CoffeeShop Blog action applied to it.

The left is SOOC and the right has a CoffeShop action: Magic Sunset applied.

Seriously, these are so COOL! Who knew?

What do you think of actions?

Isaac

If you’ve not tried this yourself, I suggest you give it a go. Head over to CoffeeShop or Pioneer Woman to get started!

WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Together

I reread the WordPress Challenge prompt for this week, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the “Together” they are looking for doesn’t have to be just two together. I visited the Mt Vernon tulip fields this weekend, and snuck photos of plenty of couples together, but in the end, this group of ladies stuck out more for me than any of the others I photographed.

Three friends, enjoying the RoozenGarde gardens together.

And for the together = just two sticklers out there:

Two tulips, growing together. Maybe they'll end up in the same bundle sold, maybe not.

April 28th, photo of the day: Tulips

Whew! We had a whirlwind day of tulips and camping and tulips and exploring and tulips and driving. Did I mention the tulips?

Isaac and I drove up to Mt Vernon yesterday afternoon, grabbed a camping spot at Bay View State Park, and headed back into town to find us some tulips! Oh, did we find them all right! They are beautiful, colorful, and seriously everywhere you look.

The following are just a few I took yesterday.

Today is my 100th day of my 365 photo project! Hurray for milestones!
