WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Blue

The thing that always come to mind when blue is being discussed is Crater Lake National Park. If you’ve never been, I advise you to make an effort to get out there at some point in your life. The winters are crazy, averaging 44 feet of snow a year. It’s a beautiful lake, and a great park. It’s a beautiful place both in winter and in summer.

On the hike down the Cleetwood Trail. Don’t mind the yellow stuff, it’s just pine pollen, and not an algae bloom as many people think. This pollen is completely harmless to the lake.
